Reality
When I observe the world around, I'm often drawn to perspectives and details that might not catch the attention of the majority of people. There are subtle qualities in certain sights and objects that compel me to paint them.
Imagination
When my inner voice is silent, at the border of sleep and waking, or when I try to calm my mind for meditation, images appear in my mind's eye. If they speak to me, I make a sketch and turn them into paintings.
